Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a cozy room with a private bathroom, showcasing the thoughtful service. The breakfast featured homemade Zopf and smoked salmon, a delightful touch, though one could wish for more proactive coffee service. While the hotel is charmingly quiet, guests should note that accessing the station can be challenging with ski equipment, requiring a ten-minute walk. The savings from the ski pass vendor are noteworthy, making Schoental a clever choice for budget-conscious adventurers. It's a practical alternative to pricier options in peak season, blending comfort with economy.
